EHHS Mural Arts Initiative 2014 - Timm Kurtz and Students

The mural that existed before outside the library was very crude, lacked any level of sophisticated technique, and appeared more like an Elementary School rendering.  Working with Arts Educator Terri Northup and Principal Scott Rhodes, I diligently mentored students who wanted to be involved.  The challenge was keeping uniformity among students - some who wanted so badly to be part of the project, they would wander out of class to participate.  This project was THEMED by the students to reflect INFORMATION and TECHNOLOGY as the student chisels the block wall to look back into the PAST and perhaps the FUTURE.
